Hyundai’s Lappi Maintains Lead in Challenging Conditions

Hyundai’s Esapekka Lappi holds a 1m06.3s advantage over M-Sport’s Adrien Fourmaux, with Toyota’s Elfyn Evans sitting 1m23.0s back in third in the final three stages of the rally in Sweden. Lappi, Evans, and Fourmaux are in line to claim 18, 13, and 15 respectively under the new points system. Thierry Neuville climbed to fourth in the standings and is in line to get 10 points. The top competitors had to deal with challenging road conditions and snowbanks throughout the day. Munster and Fourmaux had near-misses with snowbanks on stage 15. Neuville took the win on stage 15 and Lappi holds the lead.
