Evans frustrated by race incidents in Formula E

Mitch Evans, a Jaguar driver, was in contention to win in Saudi Arabia but ran into issues with Jean-Eric Vergne during the race. Evans claimed that Vergne pushed him into the wall, leading to contact and loss of momentum. Although he eventually repassed Vergne, he ran wide at Turn 18 and ultimately finished in fifth place. Vergne defended his actions, stating that in Formula E, close contact is common. Evans believed he could have won the race if not for the wide turn and the double move from Vergne on the last lap, which forced him off the track and into a lower finishing position.
