Pirro Steps Down as McLaren F1 Academy Chief

Former McLaren F1 test driver Emanuele Pirro has left his role as head of the McLaren driver development programme, after overseeing the recruitment of young talents like Gabriel Bortoleto and Ugo Ugochukwu. The programme will now be managed in-house under director Stephanie Carlin. David Sanchez has also departed from the technical department, with Rob Marshall taking over as chief designer.
