Lando Norris’ Perspective on McLaren’s F1 Title Challenge

Lando Norris has signed a new deal with McLaren, extending his contract until at least 2027. While McLaren has made significant progress, Norris remains cautious about expecting too much in the short term. He believes that McLaren has the potential to build on its podium finishes in 2023, but does not anticipate being in a position to mount a full-on title challenge in the near future. Norris feels that McLaren lacks the consistency to challenge consistently, although he believes they are ready to take on top teams. He is looking towards the major rules reset in 2026 as an opportunity for any top team to go for the title.
